Today's soda was one I originally came across at a restaurant in San Francisco called "Heaven's Dog". When I had ordered it I took a sip and was very surprised. This was the first "real" ginger ale I ever had and I did not know that good ginger ale was not supposed to taste like Canada Dry. I took another sip and realized that although it was not what I was used to, I liked it. It is very sweet, which is nice because it offsets the very strong taste of fresh ginger in the soda. As I said it tastes very much like ginger with a slight spiciness that is present in real ginger. It is very crisp with a nice balance to it. This is one of my favorite sodas and I give it a 9/10.
My reviews of the most interesting sodas I can get my hands on. I'm in my teens so don't expect wine critic level reviews cuz im just doin the basics.

Ramune
Today's soda is one I have loved for a long time, a Japanese soda made by multiple companies called Ramune. While each company makes their product in a slightly different manner, the flavors are fairly similar. The taste is similar to Sprite with bubblegum steeped in it.It's very carbonated and has a very refreshing aftertaste that pretty much tastes like bubblegum. This is one of my favorite sodas and I give it a 9/10

Americana Black Cherry Soda
Tried a new soda today, Americana Black Cherry Soda. First thing I want to say before I get really in depth for this review is that it is SWEET and I don't mean sweet as in good... but it was, I mean sweet as in sugary. I like sugar but it was a little too sweet for me. Aside from that it is very good. It tastes like cherries but not too artificial like some other cherry sodas or the cherry flavor in something like Cherry Coke. One more thing about it that was not so great was its lack of carbonation which was kind of a minus because with so much sugar some carbonation would make it taste a little less sweet. All around it is a pretty nice soda and I give it a 7/10.
